Overview

We will arrive at this beautiful private location in the Algarve on Thursday morning.

Flights go to Faro with the retreat about an hour by taxi from the airport.

The owners have arranged local taxis for me before.

I have known the lovely owners for over 20 years; they are respectful of privacy and helpful if we need anything.

The Location:

After settling in, there are local shops for any groceries or provisions you may require.

The apartment is well equipped and spacious, with a large kitchen/diner/living room and two large shower rooms with toilets. There are two large twin rooms and a double, so there can be a maximum of 5 attendees.

The balcony at the front has beautiful views across the valley. The garden is large and established.

The beach is a short taxi ride away. I have a favourite restaurant 10 minutes’ walk away.

The Retreat:

The beautiful glass yoga studio is next to the pool, where we can also have floating sound baths.

We will have morning Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice Friday to Sunday, Monday will depend on return flights and needs.

The day will be structured according to group consensus based on my suggestions.

There will also be:

Pranayama (breathing)
Chanting
Sound Therapy
Workshops on specific aspects, e.g. back care, strength, flexibility, how to keep your practice alive for changing times in life, and specifically during and after injury, discussions about anatomy/physiology in action, partner work.
Cleansing
Time to chill, go for walks, go to the beach, book a massage, swim, sit in the garden, etc.

Food:

All meals except one night out will be included and prepared by the lovely Michele and Gordon who own the retreat and live on the property. The menu will be discussed in advance to find something suitable for all attendees.

Cost:

The cost of the 4 nights, all food except one dinner, yoga classes in this exclusive retreat is £990 each.

Flights and taxi costs are not included, nor are massages you may book once there.

Extra floating sound baths can be booked with Michele. Cost to be advised.
