Sound Therapist Diploma Course

Overview

The Sound Healing with the Voice Practitioner Training Course is a professional training comprising five weekend workshops taken over a year to a year and a half.

The course is accredited with the College of Sound Healing, consist of 5 parts and has been running since 1998.

Part one can be taken stand-alone:

It introduces an understanding of the voice and how to remove blockages from the voice, using exercises to create pure tone and working with the breath.

You will gain an understanding of harmonics, their role in healing as well as how to hear and create them.

You will experience a sound healing session and learn to balance the chakras with vowel sounds.

Parts 2-5 are taken to complete the diploma:

You will learn about the principles of sound healing, working with healing energy and using tuning forks.

You will learn a progression of sound healing treatment protocols that develop throughout the course, using the voice for diagnosis.

Learn about the healing power of musical intervals, working with the chakras, the 5 elements and using mantras.

There will be physical and vocal exercises throughout as well as practical session where you both give and receiving sound healing sessions.

There is always time for discussion and reflection with support of the tutor.

The course can be taken as self-development without graduating.

Students get support from highly experienced tutors.

To graduate as an accredited Sound Healer, there will be some written work and extra requirements:

• All homework is practically based
• 2 pieces of about 600 words
• An essay of about 3000 words
• Complete 36 practice healing sessions and write them up
• Attend an extra 2 days of training with any college tutor
• Become a member of the College of Sound Healing

This Diploma is recognised by The College of Sound Healing

Dates:

Part 1: 17th – 18th May 2025 or 14th – 15th June 2025
Part 2: 26th - 27th July 2025
Part 3: 25th – 26th October 2025
Part 4: 17th – 18th January 2026
Part 5: 18th - 19th April 2026

PAYMENT: There are three options for paying for the training with Lin.

* Part 1 is available as a stand-alone £275, can be upgraded to the full course.

OPTION 1: Pay in full at the time of booking receive £125 discount.
Total course cost = £1250 (instead of £1375)
OPTION 2: Book and pay in two instalments.
Total course cost = £1375
First payment of £688 at the time of booking
Second payment of £687 due 2 weeks before the Part 3 training
OPTION 3: If you wish to just book for Part 1 as a stand alone workshop, the cost for the Part 1 weekend ONLY is £275.
If you then decide to continue with the training full payment of £1100 for the further 4 parts is required by Part 2 (Total cost £1375)
